It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Christmas has always been my favourite time of the year. For years my parents worked hard to make it a magical time. I would struggle to sleep with excitement and in the hope of seeing Santa. Even after I found out the magic came from my parents, they always made sure it was a happy magical day.

Five years ago the time came and I realized I was now the one to create the magic and my excitement grew and new traditions were born.

It’s not about the money you spend or how many presents are under the tree. In all honesty the first Christmas we went all out we quickly realized that young children don’t care, they can’t tell the difference between a £2 toy and a £200 toy (and either way they’ll be more interested in the box/wrapping paper).

This year I have decided to do twelve days of Christmas blog. Every other day from 1st December a blog on different aspects of the Christmas festivities.

  A big part of my Christmas prep is a big de-clutter.
