Storm Trooping at MACH 2018

Synchro ERP attended the MACH 2018 show at the NEC in Birmingham. It’s the first time we have been and it is the largest show of its kind in the UK. It’s organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association.

There are 6 Halls at the NEC with booths large and small. There are plenty of moving parts with full size working lathes and drills, we have part of an undercarriage of a large airliner and a jaguar F8 cut in half. 

The bloodhound – the UK’s attempt on the first car to break the 1,000 mph barrier is also here and Ben Ainslie ( the UK’s most successful Olympic sailing competitor) opened the show.

The show featured on the BBC breakfast show on Monday morning with their business presenter talking to exhibitors.

We at Synchro had some help from the Empire with our very own stormtrooper attracting plenty of people to our new trade stand. He can be spotted in the Mach video of the show.

It’s not all fun as we also managed to see some existing customers and have some potential new leads to follow up ....
